Burger Joint

Burger Joint is a restaurant that serves good food, good services and good presentations. The first time I went to the place, a friend and I decided to pass by the building to get fish ice cream from a Korean store near by. When we walked in, the place was packed with paintings, pictures, films and cameras and most of them are for sale. That caught my interest and made me stay. The food didn't really get my attention. But for the heck of it, I ordered. I basically tried everything they have in the menu. Let me highlight some of them.

Beef Burger: Really rich patty, it's really thick but it's not that greasy. the burger isn't really dry though. The taste stays in your mouth and you'll love it like that. I think the buns are made from pandesal but i swear, it does not jeopardize the taste of the burger. It gives me a Patriotic feel too.

Chicken Burger: Not really far from the beef burger. It still gives you the glory of eating a burger. The bonus part is, if you are weight conscious, it allows you to enjoy a wonderful burger without gaining much.

Fish and Chips: I'm not a fan of fish. 2 things I hate, Fish and Iced Tea. This meal is designed for 2 people to share but I hog them to myself. This basket of fish and chips broke my record of fish dislikes. The fish is deep fried to be so soft and equally cooked offering a continuous flavor and consistent texture. A dip of tartar sauce is served together with the fish and chips. To top it off, 2 cups of either iced tea or coke are served so they just defeated my weakness in iced tea by providing a substitute.

Super Dawg: Super fits the name. It's huge, it's good and it makes you want for more. I dont know if they used a different kind of frankfurter or they used a regular hotdog and cooked it in a different way. If you want a challenge, try finishing this without asking your friend to finish it for you. I swear, this is huge, the bun is a  non-traditional type so it's softer and the texture suits the meat. Topped with a whole lot of cheese grated in small soft portions.

Spaghetti in Meat Sauce: The underdog in the meNew. This is delicious, when I first had this, I totally forgot that I was with someone. She hated me for telling her how delicious it was. The taste was absolutely equal. Ever notice how filipino spaghetti is really sweet, and like italian spaghetti is like tomato sour? This one is sitting on top of the thin line between those two tastes.

Therefore, I swear to becoming one of Burger Joint's regular customers. I hope the readers of this will have the same experience.
